At The Flower Farm, we have over four decades of experience sowing, growing, picking and arranging flowers in Redlands and Brisbane. But despite our love of beautiful blooms, our top priority is always the happiness of our customers and floral recipients.
To do that, we need to focus on our delivery service. We want to ensure that your fresh flower delivery in Brisbane or the surrounding areas is on time, every time. So our beautiful fresh blooms can brighten the recipient’s day.
Getting fresh flowery delivery in Brisbane – you can count on us!
Nothing is worse than a missed birthday or milestone event. That’s why our delivery service is so important to us. You can count on us to make sure your flowers get to their destination on time. So you can say congrats, or happy birthday (or whatever other sentiment you’re expressing) when it matters.
However, there are some things that you can do to help us get your delivery to its destination in a timely fashion. We’ve given you our tips below!
Monday to Saturday
For addresses within our delivery zone, make your order by 11am (Queensland, AEST) Monday to Saturday and we’ll generally deliver on the same day. We do always try to delivery flowers ordered after 11am on the same day if we can. We offer this service because delivering the freshest flowers is really important to us – as much as for our clients!
Of course, that’s not always an option. But we’ll let you know at checkout when we can deliver to your destination (if not same day!).
Same day flower delivery Brisbane
What if you’re a little bit late to order? Our same day delivery is a great option, and your loved one won’t ever know that it was last minute. (After all, we’ve all been there!)
Our best tip to arrange for same day flower delivery Brisbane is to order early, and for your delivery address to be within our delivery zone. We can deliver your bouquets and arrangements on the same day of ordering from Monday to Saturday, and on occasion, on Sunday.
Please be aware though that we need 24 hours’ notice of delivery in the week leading to Mothers’ Day, as it’s our busiest week of the year. During this week we are unable to offer same-day flower delivery. This year, that week is Monday 9 May – Saturday 13 May, with Mothers’ Day falling on Sunday 14 May.
Sunday same day delivery
If you would like to arrange for flower delivery on a Sunday, please call us. We can talk through whether delivery is possible on your Sunday, and the bouquets and arrangements that will be available on that day. Our Birkdale farm shop is open 9am – 1pm each Sunday to pick up orders or to come in and browse or purchase from our beautiful floral and gift display.
Mothers’ Day Sunday
On Mothers’ Day Sunday (14 May this year), we are not able to offer same day delivery. Our Birkdale farm shop is however open for extended hours on Mothers’ Day, from 7am – 4pm. So, if you don’t get around to ordering on time, pop into our shop to pick up something beautiful for mum.
Public holidays
We are not able to deliver flowers on public holidays. Any blooms requested for a public holiday will be delivered on the next business day. If you do need a bouquet or arrangement for a public holiday, please be in touch to arrange delivery the day before.

We regularly deliver to homes, businesses, schools, hospitals and aged care facilities within our Redlands and Brisbane delivery zone. Here are the daily delivery details you need to know, to ensure your flower delivery Brisbane is perfectly timed:
Residential homes
We regularly deliver to residential homes within our delivery zone, Monday to Saturday between 12pm and 6pm.
We ask that address and access details are correct, so that we are able to deliver your blooms correctly and safely. This includes details such as access through locked gates in unit complexes or gated communities. We are not able to deliver to PO Boxes or Locked Bag addresses.
Businesses
We regularly deliver to businesses within our delivery zone, Monday to Friday between 12pm and 5pm.
Schools
We regularly deliver to schools within our delivery zone, Monday to Friday between 11am and 3pm.
Hospitals
We deliver to Redlands Mater Private, Redlands Public and Belmont Private Hospital in Carina Heights, Monday to Friday between 12pm and 4pm.
Aged-care facilities
We regularly deliver to nursing homes and residential villages within our delivery zone, Monday to Saturday between 12pm and 5pm. We also deliver our excess seasonal flowers to the lifestyle programs at our local aged-care facilities.
